My Dad introduced me to CrossFit when I was 15 years old so I have been doing it for about 8 years now!!
I’ve been coaching CrossFit for 4 years and could not wish for a better job!! Alongside this I have a degree in Sports Therapy & more recently have progressed into a tutoring role within a Sports Massage course.
My favourite movement is probably a Ring Muscle up. Not because they are a ‘speciality’, but because of the achievement that comes from consistent training over the years.
I remember as teen walking into the gym not being able to do 1 strict pull up, thinking some day, I’ll get just 1.
Now being able to do sets of 5+ Strict RMU / 10+ Kipping RMU is pretty cool to look back and see the progress!!
My least favourite movement is without a doubt the pistol squat. Even though I have a passion for movement mechanics and like to think I move pretty well…. I am awful at pistols. (You may see me ask someone in class to demo for me 🤣).
